About Bev Young
I’ve been immersed in websites and web marketing since practically the beginning of the internet. When I was supposed to be designing the annual report at my government job, I would spend hours scouring source code to discover the secrets of web development. That brought me to HTML, CSS, Javascript and WordPress, among other platforms. It was all fascinating to me, and still is. After a few more years of nine to five, I was ready to change course.
I’ve managed to forge a large number of long-term relationships with clients who come to me year after year, for a new website, a refresh, help with visibility, or for general marketing advice. In the software industry, things are always changing. My goal is to help entrepreneurs grow and succeed in the present, while I keep an eye on the future. When new technologies come along, I want to be ready so you can take advantage of them.
When not working at the computer…
Yes, it does happen, haha! You’ll find me watching Formula One or MotoGP racing, reading Tarot cards for friends, or walking my Chiweenie dog, Snoop. I’ve always been an avid dog lover, and spent 5 years fostering stray dogs in the central valley of California before opening the doors of Bev Young Marketing. My husband and I fostered for a wonderful organization call New Beginnings for Animals Merced County. They have created a network of foster families, drivers and even small plane pilots to help stray animals in the county be relocated to no-kill shelters or to forever homes.
As I’m not able to directly help by fostering from my home in Langley, BC, I created the Mindful Pet Mugs Etsy store, the proceeds of which are donated to the organization.
